Design of Horizontal Type Liquid Ammonia Storage Tank
Abstract: Storage tank is used to store or pack gases, liquids, liquefaction gases and other media. It is widely used in the chemical industry, petroleum, energy, light industry, environmental protection, pharmacy and food industries. Conventional design methods is used in this design to calculate and design the thickness of the horizontal cylinder of liquid ammonia storage tank and the head, check the water pressure test, and reinforced design of the opened manhole. Selected hermetic devices, manhole, supports, hicky tube and security accessories according to related standard. It includes some simplified drawing of tank parts and tank assembly according to the needs of this design. A relatively completed design of horizontal liquid ammonia storage tank is accomplished.
